Haidakhandeshwari Ma is the all encompassing form of Divine Mother –comprising of Mahakali, Mahalaxmi and Mahasaraswati. To give a little context, in India within the Shagun (with Images) Bhakti Tradition, we have three broad streams of  Shaivism, Vaishnav and Shakti traditions-who are respectively devotees of Shiva, Vishnu and Divine Mother or Jagdamba (Mother of the Universe).

There is only one Divine Mother -called variously as Jagdamba (Mother of the Universe) or Durga and various other names and she takes numerous manifestations to accomplish her divine task of delivering Bhukti and Mukti -abundance and liberation to her children on this earth.

Haidakhandeshmari Ma is the all encompassing form of Divine Mother, (Mahakali, Mahalaxmi, Mahasaraswati) This is the 3rd image created of her specific form and attrubutes.
Mother of the Universe, her devine task is to deliver abundante and liberation to her children on Earth.

The crescent moon on the forehead of Haidakhandeshwari Ma is symbolic of Shiva as one of the names of Shiva is Chandrasekhar (one who holds the moon on his forehead).This is symbolic of Mahakali who is also called Mahamaya-the grand Illusionist. Maya or Illusion is a phenomenon where what seems or appears is not a reality. One example would be a flowing river which appears to be same but in
reality it changes all the time. This is the same delusion where we think our bodies are same today as it was yesterday but again every moment cells are dying and new cells are being born. It is through the Grace of Mahamaya that we can overcome our delusions on this earth and understand our true nature.
Our Haidakhandeshwari Ma is also embodying Lakhsmi Devi, the consort of Lord
Vishnu as She is holding in Her hands; Shankh (conch), Chakr (rotation disk),

Gada (mace) and Padma (lotus). These four attributes are symbolic of Purusharth-
which literally symbolize the Objects of Human Pursuits. This is an important concept in Sanatan Dharma and refers to the four proper goals or aims of human life. The four Purusharths are Dharma (righteousness,moral values) ,Artha(prosperity, economic values), Kama (pleasure, love, psychological
values) and Moksha(liberation,spiritual values). Shankh is symbolic of Abundance and Wealth, Chakra is symbolic of Dharma or Righteousness, Gada is symbolic of enabling Moksha, Padma is symbolic of fulfilment of Desires.
Haidakhandeshwari Ma is seated on a lotus in the icon and that representing the
qualities of Saraswari Ma in Her expression beauty and artistic qualities.
Haidakhandeshwari Ma also has a Kumauni appearance partly in the way she is dressed and the jewels she is wearing representing Her as a Devi, seated in a cave in the Kumaon region.
To get to know Her is to experience Her by focussing on Her with Mantra’s and reading Her Saptasati booklet containing 700 versus describing Her and Her qualities.
